Privacy Policy — Movie Quiz

Movie Quiz is a free, ad-free movie trivia game by FED-Republic. We collect as little as possible and never sell your data. Questions: movie-quiz@fed-republic.com.
What we collect
- Account & game data — an anonymous account is created on first launch so your scores and bookmarks are saved. If you register (optional, passwordless), we also store your email and any nickname you choose. We keep your scores, bookmarks, and watched movies.
- Diagnostics (opt-in) — Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics are off by default. If you turn them on, they collect anonymous usage and crash data (device model, OS, app version). Toggle anytime in Settings → Privacy.
We don’t collect your name, contacts, photos, or location; we don’t show ads, sell data, or offer purchases.
Who we share it with
Providers acting on our behalf: Supabase (database & sign-in) and Google Firebase (diagnostics, only if you opt in). Movie images and details come from TMDB and JustWatch; we don’t send them your personal data. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed by TMDB.
Your data & rights
Delete everything anytime in Settings → Data → Delete account, or clear just scores or bookmarks there. Where local law applies (e.g. GDPR, CCPA), you can access, correct, delete, export, or restrict your data — in the app or by email. We don’t sell personal information.
Children
Movie Quiz isn’t directed to children under the age set by local law (e.g. 13 in the US, 16 in parts of the EU), and we don’t knowingly collect their data.
